After a game to set the scene after their journey they are split
into 3 groups for the activities. After lunch; Combat display, funeral, story, games. Most Schools arrive around 9.30-10.00am and leave 2.00-2.30pm |
Throwing balls at your friends is great fun, so is trying
to block it with a shield!
Animals and textiles of the Saxons and Vikings
Preparing and cooking oat-cakes with honey
Pottery - They even get to take their creation home for Mum!
Oar wrestling - Hold on, pull hard and lift your opponent
off the ground!
Nature walk. Introduction to trees, plants and animals
of the Dark Ages
Rare breed Wiltshire Horn sheep, never need shearing!
